Checked out the newest TungLok joint for dinner last night in the heart of the CBD - located at L8 of OUE Tower, this is the perfect spot to enjoy a gorgeous view while sipping on a beer/sake, and sharing delicious food with friends!
We tried quite a number of dishes, and while I’m a huge fan of the couple of donburis and flatbreads that I tried, I decided my feature favourite is the Zucchini Blossom Tempura, simply because (a) it’s stuffed with scallop and crab, (b) it’s extremely delicious, and (c) I’ve not ever seen a similar dish anywhere else.
The other dishes were great too... Swipe to see! The Lobster Yaki Sando deserves 4 thumbs up (if you have 4 thumbs, haha), I’d return for the beef & tori donburis, plus the Koji Beef Flatbread was stunning... Complete with the good view, good company and good conversations, it made for a really fun enjoyable evening. Thanks to @tunglokgroup & the team at @ushiosg for having us, I’ll definitely be back again soon! 🥰

🇸🇬 LO HEI!! 🥢🥗 How many Yu Sheng have you tossed this Lunar New Year? I had 2!
Yu Sheng is a Cantonese-style raw fish salad that is very popular in Singapore and Malaysia during this festive season.
We say Lo Hei which means Toss Up! While tossing the Yu Sheng, we'll also say auspicious well wishes that represent prosperity, good health, abundance, good fortune and more for ourselves and the people around us.
First time having a vegetarian Yu Sheng as we were dining at a 🌱 vegetarian restaurant with our moms! Very friendly and helpful service that made us feel at home.
