A big thank you to Maestro Tsung Yeh and the Singapore Chinese Orchestra for the lovely medleys at our virtual annual fundraising gala concert last night! This year’s programme was inspired by the yueqin 月琴. The thoughtfully put together showcase of beloved classics and familiar favourites made for an enjoyable musical evening. Mrs Goh-Tan Choo Leng also serenaded us to a selection of 1980s classics, featuring 一剪梅 (A Spray of Plum Blossoms) and 明天会更好 (Tomorrow Will Be Better).
Those in the arts scene have been among the most affected by COVID-19. By using technology, the SCO and many other groups have managed to give live performances and connect with their audiences.
