what an amazing weekend! we had an epic launch for my new home, DivineBliss KL. aside from my sheer joy of getting to collaborate with DJ Sabotage, i finally now have a place where i can perform my dance songs, and show off new original tracks i am working on, to my friends. we hosted people from all over the country, and even some from as far as australia, thailand and bali to come out and support us. special thanks to the boys from my family who came from all over to spend the weekend together.

but this weekend wasn't just about partying - it was a weekend filled with trepidation, because i knew a lot of my friends would be rallying for Bersih 4.0, and i feared for their safety. now as it nears the end of their 36-hour crusade, i am so relieved to see that everything went on without incident.
here's the most special thing about this weekend for me though - i saw thousands and thousands of people put aside their race and religion and band together as a country to fight for a common cause. it just warms my little heart. and isn't it great that this is happening in the cusp of our nation celebrating our anniversary?
sure, we still have a long way to go before we are truly cohesive and liberated from tyranny, but by this weekend's display, we can see that we are off to a good start. not as chinese, not as indians, not as malays, not as 'yang lain lain', but as malaysians.
what better way to show that we are 'sehati, sejiwa' than this?
there'll be a merdeka parade that kicks off tomorrow, but to me, our merdeka parade began on august 29th with all my fellow malaysians in yellow, together in unison, rallying for our country's betterment.

I asked to cook Japanese instant noodles at local restaurant in Bali.
This restaurant offers halal foods for Muslims.
In Islam,not only do not eat specific foods, but also cooking is forbidden.
There is a possibility that some ingredients of the Sapporo Ichiban（Japanese instant noodles ）that can not be used are included in their religion.
I paid attention so as not to be rude and explained that. He agreed with that, so I asked to cook.
I am grateful to him.
