I served her a big bowl of herbal chicken soup with mee sua which she ate heartily before taking a rest.In the evening, she helped me to take care of the baby and after dinner, we watched a couple of hours of TV to relax, including AGT and Just for Laughs Gags, because I do think its more important for her to feel happy than stressed at this point.Before she went to bed, she wrote this sweet thank you letter for me which I totally didnt see coming and it totally melted my heart. Ironically, its day 1 of her major exam yet she cheered and lifted me up more than what I did for her. Awwww. And I think I needed this.Love you so much, my dear Angel. No matter what happens, you know I will always, always be proud of you. Thank you for being you.All the best to those who are taking their PSLE too! ❤P.S. She also dropped her molar, which is her 18th tooth, tonight too. Yup, only two more milk teeth to go and her last few visits from Tooth Fairy. Today was the first day of PSLE.

I thought I did quite a good job by waking the big girl up, making her French Toast, braiding her hair and writing her a letter of encouragement - with her favourite Sumikko Gurashi design - to wish her all the best.

But this girl, she touches me in ways I never expect and brings joy through the little things she does. Not only does she make life happier for me, she is also my motivation to be a better, braver and stronger mum.

This afternoon, after enduring an over 4-hour wait in school due to a technical glitch during her oral exam and only having a bun and biscuit between 7am to 230pm, she came back home on her own, hungry but not whiny. I served her a big bowl of herbal chicken soup with mee sua which she ate heartily before taking a rest.

In the evening, she helped me to take care of the baby and after dinner, we watched a couple of hours of TV to relax, including AGT and Just for Laughs Gags, because I do think it's more important for her to feel happy than stressed at this point.

奧運週大家都在幫運動員加油，也有一些人不小心油加太多然後燒了起來(?)

其實我們常掛在嘴邊的『加油』，英文非常難對等翻譯！牛津字典乾脆直接把『add oil』收錄進去，之前去上益智問答才被問到這題。

但前提是，還是對亞洲或華語比較熟悉的人才會知道你在說什麼，而且多半是獨立使用，比方說：

We still have a lot of work to do. So add oil, everyone !
(我們還有很多要努力之處，所以大家加油！)

至於英文道地的加油要怎麼說，就要看場合了：

1⃣️如果是 #事前(不限於運動，包括考試、面試、做報告等)，要幫你朋友或同事加油打氣：

The song is Koi by Gen Hoshino. Discovered it through a super cute end credits dance video from the Jdrama by Gakki and Gen Hoshino. I loved it immediately as it made smile like an idiot. So I decided to learn the dance and film it for fun. I'm terrible at dancing so.... I hope it makes you laugh like I did when I was editing this. Allen Iverson wasn't around during the final minutes, so Eric Snow picked up the slack for the Philadelphia 76ers.

Snow scored 25 points and made seven free throws in the final minute as the 76ers withstood Iverson's foul trouble to win their season-high ninth consecutive game, 100-94 over the Denver Nuggets on Sunday night.

''Eric played great, and he was exhausted,'' Philadelphia coach Larry Brown said. ''He missed a big jumper and came right back and knocked one in when we really needed it, so he did a lot of good things.''

Snow went 17-for-19 from the line, and the 76ers went 36-for-46 to move to three games of New Jersey for the Atlantic Division lead. The Nets lost to Utah.

''We missed some shots, but we got the stops and rebounds when we needed it and were able to keep the lead, even when Allen was in foul trouble for most of the game and eventually fouled out,'' said Snow, who fell one point short of his career high. ''That made it interesting.''

Iverson scored 17 points -- 10.2 below his average -- before fouling out with 5:49 to play. He missed 11 of his 16 shots from the field and played just 29 minutes.

''It was frustrating, but all I care about is getting out of Denver,'' Iverson said. ''Getting away from here, away from those referees with a win.''

Juwan Howard scored 25 points to lead the Nuggets, who lost their 12th in a row.

''We just went toe-to-toe with one of the hottest teams in the league and came up a little short,'' Denver coach Jeff Bzdelik said. ''We had an opportunity and let it slip away.''

Iverson made his only basket of the fourth quarter with 8:18 left, and when he fouled out the 76ers were leading 88-78. Denver took advantage, and Vincent Yarbrough followed Shammond Williams' 3-pointer with one of his own to narrow the gap to 92-88 with 2:45 left.

''I think it helped me that they made some 3-pointers,'' Snow said. ''That keeps you mentally in the game.''

Snow put the Sixers up 96-91 with a free throw, following a delay-of-game technical, and he made one of two after being fouled. Howard's 3-pointer got Denver to 96-94, and the Nuggets still had a chance to tie when Derrick Coleman hit only one free throw. But Howard's pass to Williams hit the sideline with 18 seconds left, and Snow sealed the victory with two more free throws.

''We fell apart in the last two minutes when things didn't go well,'' Williams said.

The Sixers extended their six-point halftime lead to 81-68 in the third quarter, and Iverson sat out much of the period after picking up his fifth foul with 6:40 left. Snow picked up the slack, scoring eight points, while Brian Skinner and Greg Buckner had a basket each in the final 1:08.

Philadelphia played most of the second quarter without Iverson, who was rested the first three minutes of the quarter and sat out the final 2:41 after picking up three offensive fouls. Snow converted four free throws and a jumper, and Efthimios Rentzias hit a 3-pointer in the final five seconds to put the Sixers ahead 53-47 at halftime.

PHILADELPHIA — Andre Miller scored 28 points and the 76ers spoiled Allen Iverson's return to Philadelphia by beating the Denver Nuggets 115-113 Wednesday night.

Iverson, playing in Philly for the first time since being traded to Denver in December 2006, led all scorers with 32 points and added eight assists.

But the 76ers made the big plays down the stretch.

Samuel Dalembert scored the decisive basket with 32.9 second remaining. When Andre Iguodala lost possession of the ball over his head as he fell, Dalembert was there to grab it and turned for a lay-in.

Denver squandered a number of chances to tie in the final seconds. Iverson missed a jumper and Marcus Camby missed on a follow.

Iguodala emerged from a scrum, moved past half court and heaved the ball skyward in celebration.

Iguodala scored 21 points, Dalembert added 17 points, 12 rebounds and five blocked shots, including four in the last quarter. Willie Green added 16 points and Rodney Carney 11.

Carmelo Anthony scored 26 points, Kenyon Martin added 22 and Anthony Carter 12 for the Nuggets, who are scrambling for a playoff spot in the tough Western Conference.

The loss spoiled what Iverson had hoped would be a positive return to Philadelphia, where he spent the first 10-plus seasons of his career. And he didn't disappoint the fans that cheered his every drive, pull-up jumper and no-look passes for a decade.

On Wednesday, however, he had to settle for a rousing ovation and no victory.

All eyes were on Iverson when he trotted out for pregame warmups. The ovation from a jam-packed Wachovia Center crowd grew, and then Iverson made his way to center court, where he dropped down and kissed the 76ers logo.

The affection between the former 76ers MVP and the fans intensified throughout the pregame.

When Iverson was introduced, the fans showered him with raucous applause and a lengthy standing ovation. He worked the crowd by putting his hand to his ear and turning to each corner of the arena as the roar grew louder. The applause was only cut short by the introduction of the rest of the Denver lineup.

Just before the game started, Iverson trotted down the sideline to the Sixers' bench and embraced former coach Maurice Cheeks, the first time the two got together since he was traded 15 months before.

Iverson's impact was immediate as he fed Anthony for a game-opening 3-pointer and scored his first points on a 14-foot jumper at the 6:32 mark of the first quarter.

The Nuggets rallied from a seven-point halftime deficit with a 10-point run to open the third quarter.

Iverson, who had 12 points and five assists in the first half, added nine points in Denver's third-quarter run.
