👩🏼”Sorry, I should ask first, you’re FOR or AGAINST (贊成定反對)the protests?”
🤷🏼♂️ “As a Hong Konger (從來都用呢個稱呼), I can’t think of any reason to against it.”(有乜理由反對呀)
👩🏼 ”Even with such violence and damages?”(暴力同破壞到咁都贊成?)
👩🏼 “Considering Communist China’s power now, do you really think the protests really work? I feel sad that people do these to their own home for nothing eventually(中國咁勁同有錢,香港人明知輸都做,咁好慘囉(cynical 到一個點))
🤷🏼♂️ 「God knows the outcome(唔做就一定唔得囉) but do you remember when did U.K. have real universal suffrage(全民普選)?」
👩🏼 “why’s that?”
🤷🏼♂️ “101 years ago U.K. officially allow women to vote as men equally, right?”
👩🏼 "right...”
🤷🏼♂️ “as I remember, before that those feminine activists (女權主義者)ask for women's right to vote in the most peaceful way (終極和理非)for decades (幾十年)but were ignored and sentenced by the government, some have been harassed or even beaten and tortured by the police(無視,判監、性騷擾,打同虐待)”
🤷🏼♂️ “Until Emmeline Pankhurst(英國勇武女權先驅)and her supporters took the violent ways to protest, burning churches, broke shops windows and etc...(放火破壞之餘此類)One of them even used her own body to hit King's racing horse(仲响馬場衝皇帝隻賽馬). Were they considered as rioters(暴徒)? What do Britons or you think about her now?
👩🏼 “I got your point, this is a very good example to let me understand more as an outsider,” (咪玩啦...)
