船形廟
概況: 這是一座帆船造型的寺廟, 船頭及船尾翹起, 船頭浮雕及彩繪形似 Phayanak 或龍頭, 船身有窗戶, 甲板上三支桅杆, 風帆以鐵網製成, 船頭及船尾都有門, 可進入船身, 並有旋轉梯可登上甲板眺望周邊鹽田風光 ~
Wat Nok Pak Ta Le 的船型寶殿規模不大, 殿內有金佛及納瑞宣王 (King Naresuan the Great 1590~1605 A.D.) 塑像, 納瑞宣王擊退入侵的緬甸人, 是泰國家喻戶曉的君王, 往來曼谷七岩或華欣的自駕遊客, 可以選擇走車少風景好的 4012 + 4028 公路, 花 20 分鐘順道造訪這裡, 船形廟就在路邊, 很方便 ~

มีความพยายามตามหา เจดีย์ยุทธหัตถี มาตั้งแต่สมัยรัชกาลที่ ๕ โดยสมเด็จกรมพระยาดำรงราชานุภาพ

จนในสมัยรัชกาลที่ ๖ หลวงประเสริฐอักษรนิติ นำสมุดเก่าเล่มหนึ่งมาถวายกรมพระยาดำรงฯ ได้มาจากยายแก่คนหนึ่ง กำลังนำกระดาษเก่าๆไปเผาในกระชุ

เมื่อเปิดดูจึงเห็นบันทึกเหตุการณ์สำคัญในประวัติศาสตร์ไว้มากมาย รวมถึงระบุว่า ศึกยุทธหัตถีมีขึ้นที่หนองสาหร่าย

จึงให้พระยาสุพรรณบุรีไปค้นหาเจดีย์ที่สุพรรณบุรี จนเจออยู่ในป่าทึบ รัชกาลที่ ๖ เสด็จไปทรงทำพิธบวงสรวง วันที่ ๒๐ มกราคม ๒๔๕๖

รัชกาลที่ ๙ เสด็จไปทรงเปิดพระบรมราชานุสาวรีย์ วันที่ ๒๕ มกราคม ๒๕๐๒ ตามที่รายการ LINEกนก นำเสนอไปในอาทิตย์ที่แล้ว

จนปี พ.ศ.๒๕๑๕ หนังสือพิมพ์ลงข่าวกันเกียวกราวว่า พบเจดีย์ยุทธหัตถี องค์จริงอยู่ที่ ต.ดอนเจดีย์ อ.พนมทวน จ.กาญจนบุรี

มีกระดูกคน ช้าง ม้า เกลื่อนอยู่ พร้อมเครื่องศาสตราวุธ หอกดาบ เครื่องช้างศึกม้าศึก ยอดฉัตร โกลนม้า ขอสับช้าง แป้นครุฑจับนาค..

และที่พนมทวน ก็มีหนองสาหร่าย มีตะพังตรุ หนองสาหร่ายที่พนมทวน ห่างจากองค์เจดีย์ที่พนมทวนราว ๑๐ กว่ากิโลเมตร เป็นไปได้ที่ช้างทรงของพระนเรศ จะตกมัน ได้กลิ่นช้างของพระมหาอุปราชา จึงวิ่งมาชนช้างกันตรงนี้

อีกทั้งวันที่ ๖ ธันวาคม ๒๕๑๖ ในหลวง รัชกาลที่ ๙ พร้อมพระบรมราชินีนาถ และสมเด็จพระเจ้าลูกเธอ ๒ พระองค์ เสด็จมาที่เจดีย์ อ.พนมทวนด้วย
